I have a '92 3000GT VR-4 and I need a shop in the south jersey area to swap in a shortblock for me. I'm located in sewell, near deptford, glassboro, woodbury etc. Already got one I'm going to order. The heads are both new as are the turbos. I got burned bad at the last shop I was at because he had no clue what he was doing with these cars (long story). I got one quote so far from Ella's automotive in Sewell, 1255 for everything, cause I need the turbos and oil lines cleaned and probably a new pump, cooler, and pan. Don't want shavings getting into my new motor.

Thanks guys any advice is appreciated, I'm not on here much but I felt the need to network to find the best possible option.

im not really sure about any in jersey but i know someone i would recommend in pa

I'm like 15 minutes tops from the bridge so PA could work too, where in PA?

Kg speed factory in clifton nj. I know they had a built vr4 in there recently for a clutch job. Those guys move with the quickness! Clutch change is a pain in the ass on that car. They made it look easy though lol.

That's a tough question, man. The only person I'd trust with my VR4s would be Ray Pampena, but he's all the way up in NY.

If you can get this done for $1255, do it. Shortblock swap pays 23.8 hours.

I can vouch for this. I live in Clifton, not far from that shop, and know they have built 3000GTs before. Not sure if it's too far for you though, it's North NJ.
