For some people it works and others it doesn't. I actually gained using it, so it worked for me. It was almost a full tenth, but that was before I got the car tuned. When you do get serious numbers though I recommend ditching the SLP maf because tuning gets tricky when you tell the computer one thing and the MAF is telling it something else. I'm running the stock MAF again though for that reason.
I did run my best bolt-on stock TC time of a 12.088 @ 115.45 and a cam only(small cam) stock TC time of 11.936 @ 116.63 with the SLP MAF on the car. It's hit or miss with that mod though.

A MAF translator helps with the SLP or aftermarket MAF...currently running an LT1 MAF in my car + translator, no-one can just expect to throw on a aftermarket MAF and expect it to help w/o tuning it

Scaling an aftermarket MAF with tuning is the best thing you can do to get the most out of the MAF.... Eric

just throwing the slp maf on can be bad for a car... i mean if you car has NO fuel tuning at all you could run the risk of going dangerously lean... but then again i did that with just a throttlebody... flowed to much CFM and went to 15:1 air/fuel ratio... took it off and it was 12.8:1 with no tuning at all just intake/exhaust

A...It was sarcasm...B. I did Welcome him in the thread I wasn't like OMFG SLP BAAAAA.
C. I didn't ask anyone to post on here about it...Infact If Chummmma didn't post that I was going to. And it wasn't Entirely False...I've heard guys running the SLP Maf and complain about the car running like ****...that they put the factory one back on and POOF...More power than with the SLP one on...But Like was discussed...It's all about how you use it...and most likely the scenarios I have heard...the Maf wasn't being used properly. But I drive a turbo 4cyl...so I don't know any and everything about LS1's.
