Info: After the Philly Auto Show rapped up I headed over to Bryan's to polish the hood of the Supra. The hood was coming off for the show so it was never done and the buffer randomly stopped working. Once I finished polishing, the subject of detailing the WRX came up. The car hadn't been professionally detailed in something like 5 years, and for the past 6 months or so it had been in storage. As it sounds, the car really needed it. Basically on the spot, on monday of last week we agree to have the car detailed. Bryan had to test out the car after getting tuned but was able to drop the car off late thursday night. As opposed to the Supra I had four days to work on the car, and that was more than enough.

Car Description: Paint overall was in good condition. There was light swirling/marring on all panels of the car. Hood, Roof, and Trunk suffered from chemical etching. Also, a small burn mark was found and photographed next to the gas tank door before polishing. Process included: SIP on Orange, first pass at 2,000rpm; Second pass at 1,500. Paint was then polished with 106fa on Black at 1,500rpm then Jeweled at 1,000rpm. Car was treated with Black Fire Wet Diamond Sealant and aloud to cure for 10 hours.

Yeah I agree! When we got the car, in the sun the metallic blue paint looked almost dull. Because of the polishing we were really able to bring out the metallic sparkles and flakes in the World Rally Blue paint.
