problems with neighbor

earlier today i was changing my oil at about 2:00 when i was done i started the car up and i let it idle for a few minutes after while im cleaning everything up some lady down the next block in my development who yells nasty comments out of her window every time i so much as start my car comes down and starts yelling and screaming at me how illegal my car is mind you the car was just inspected shes screaming up and down how shes going to call the cops... she has tried to make up petitions against me and my car and honestly i just am tired of her all together she claims she sleeps during the day however that is not my fault or problem and i dont say anything when her dogs bark all damn day at the top of their lungs basically im just wondering if she even has a leg to stand on by calling the police and also is there anything i can do to get this harrassment from her to stop as this is not the first time thanks

sure, call the cops where you live, let them know that she keeps yelling at you, and everything else that happens. They will most likely tell her to stop and if she keeps it up, call again. If nothing comes of it, im sure you can sign a complaint against her and take her to court and tell the judge what is happening. this should help get her to settle down a bit.
