But anyway, I just got my engine parts back from the machine shop. Ooooh ahhhh. I snapped some pictures of the cylinder head, and one of the cross-hatch hone. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is for my '97, daily driver. Figures the car I don't run at high-RPM it's entire life kills an engine. It burns oil like mad, makes rattling noises, and is in general a piece of crap. So I figured why not rebuild it

Mmm...stock porting.
I can't wait to see how my port job turns out. >) Get that sucker a higher comp piston and make it a fast rattling daily driver.

Lookin nice. It's awesome that people are still doing mods to the S Series. Actually... I don't know why they would stop. S-Series saturns are LIGHT! 1st gen SC2 is like 2000lbs..?
