That pic of the eclipse with the lightning in the background is a sick shot. Almost makes me want to use it as a wallpaper on my iPad.

Thanks, such a sick shot. Must have been hard to get the lightning in the shot.

More or less lucky placement, The car is one exposure and then I just left the camera on the tripod and did a bunch of long exposures until I got a good strike. Thanks for the feedback!

Very nice pictures! The fourth picture (well car) looked familiar from the klutchonline photo of the week contest. What camera and lenses are you using, these all look sick

Thanks! Yea I've been in a few of klutch's contests. I shoot with a gripped Canon 7D, 18-135mm, 70-300 (non- L), 50mm f1.8 and lighting equipment.

pics look great. you do a good job of using the background in the pic. Btw do you use lighting equipment or do you edit and layer the car to be brighter and the background more contrasting?

Yea I have a wireless setup, 2 Canon 430ex II's. Very nice to use to make the car pop and leave the background darker and less distracting.

I love the night shots and I noticed you use a few 430EX II's. I just picked one up today and once I get out of class tonight I may go try some wireless flash photography
