hey i'am goin to make this story as short as possible so if you need more info let me know. I live in DE and on my way home i tried to pass this jeep and when i got next to him he started to drift into my lane so a honked gave the finger and slowed down. About 200yards later he puts on the brakes so i think he is going to park on the rightside of the road since thats where alot of hunters park. I go to pass him on the left and he starts driving on a 45degree angle into my lane. I just made it pass him without getting hit and keep goin stright into my devoplment. Well the guy follows me so now am scared since it looks like 2 people are in the jeep and could have a gun for all i know or, these guys are cops being a-holes. Well the guy ends up going to the house 2 down from ours and leaves 2min later. Now that i think about it i have seen the jeep there often and i dont think he lives there but has family or friend there.

QUESTION: is can i write his plate# down in a couple of days and call the cops and report road rage on this clown? Or is that too late?

I would have gone down there and and talked to the guy right away but since i live w/ my sister and her husband i dont want to confort the driver untill i talk to my sis. I have been in heated driving experenices in the past but this came way out of left field. I did nothing to get this guy upset and i'am drivng a pos honda untill my car is out of the shop. So its not like i have a loud ass car or was driving excessively fast. Any help would be helpful.

just read in a ask the law thread that if a cop doesnt see it then nothing will happen. Should i still report it in case a incident like this happen again? And if a cop has to see it then why are there all those signs that say see road rage call 555-5555?

you can call up and report it, you may be able to sign a civilian complaint against the owner of the vehicle for their driving. So if you have the plate, call up the police department and talk to them, they will explain your options.
