boost leak?? dsm bov

Searched could not find. I have a 1g DSM BOV on my sr20det swapped s13 and I believe it to be leaking. At half throttle it bucks and my turbo still spools but my bov still cheerps at the same time. I was curious if i did the age old "crushed" BOV trick would it stop my boost leak?? just a temp fix till i can get a new BOV.

Why dont you just run a boost leak test and figure out where the exact leak is coming from before you start messing with other things. If it ends up being the bov then go for the crush but your best bet is to leak test it and figure out what the real issue could be.

Do the boost leak test. Just because you hold full boost, does not mean that your BOV is the only thing that is possibly the culprit. Usually these things are a few issues together causing a problem.
