stop rust

well i have a few different cars/trucks and i was just curious how i can get rid of my rust, im not really concerned about patching holes or trying to fix a fender that can just be replaced, im more worried about the cabin and bed because there harder to replace.
i have a few spots here and there that are staring to rust, i would like to take care of these small areas before i have nothing left. does anyone know what the solution would be?
living on the east coast sucks when it comes to are rides rusting away, please help thanks.
does anyone know of any good body shops when it comes to paint technique, quality and pricing?
by the way i live in vineland, new jersey, cumberland county, south jersey
