Scam!!!!

Alright, so I was on CARS.com looking up Impreza's just for.And I saw so many STi's and I seen this STi going $8,000 so I took a look at it and it just happened to be ryan4eleven's car at CAR PRETTY. How messed up is this that someone is trying to use his car for a scam. And they have three pictures of it. I hate people like this. Really whats the point of doing such a thing? ohh ****.... well i had a talk with my trapezoid (aka asain) friend smokescreen on the phone tonight and we both seem to think they speak cambodian. so any one know some one cambodian that speaks english as well so we can have fun

"I happened to notice that the nice little scam you have going on cars.com is using one of my photographs (the top one) which you removed my signature from and are now using without my permission. This violates numerous copyright laws and is subject to up to $150,000 in damages. I am contacting you informally here to ask you to remove the photo from the listing and delete any copies you have of it, on your computer or otherwise. This is exactly what the letter from my lawyer would say if I chose to have him pursue this, and I assure that you will hear from him if I find you are still using my photo 3 days from now, which is March 16th, 2006.
I will keep an eye on your ad and you in general and wont hesitate to contact you to pursue this further if you do not adhere to my request.
And for your own personal interest, the penalties you face for illegally using my photos are merely a pin prick compared to the jailtime you would be looking at for the grand theft you are committing with your little car scam you have online.

i know this is way off topic, but i just wanted to throw my .02 in there. when i was living in spain, my g/f's sister wanted to learn english. i told her she should go to the states, but she said i speak american. she didnt want to learn "american english". so instead, she went to the u.k. although we dont refer to it as speaking american, i found that a lot of countries do...especially if they are students and took english classes and understand the differences.

wow thats nuts. It happened to me last week with my car. Some kid posted up a c-west replica kit for sale and used my photo, not knowing mine is the real one. He then proceeded to tell ppl it was his car. I didnt tell him about the legality of it, I just told him if he didnt take it down I would **** him up plain and simple.

Hey everyone.
I noticed this about 2 weeks ago. I didnt know you guys had noticed it too though.
The scam is off of cars.com because i contacted them to let them know it was a fraud listing.
It took them a week to get back to me b4 they finally took it down.
In the meantime, ive been emailing the seller, and he is still insisting it is his car, nothing's wrong with it...he sent me 10 pics of the car(all mine)...and a detailed modification list...mine as well.
He also said that there are a bunch of people interested so to act fast.
I'm trying to decide whats the best next move.
I havnt yet told him its my car.
what should i do to catch him with his pants down...not litterally.
