08 FX35 - Sapphire Blue

Thought might as well post some pics of the ride in case anyone sees it around.

Back in 2008, the day after we picked it up from Ray Catena in New Jersey

Few month laters, snatched some 20" OEM rims

Decided to get new rims and picked up diablo wheels courtesy of a friend who owns the company. Unfortunately quickly realized it wasnt for me. These did not stay on the car long.

Decided to change up the exterior...
- Black HL housings
- Black Grille
- Clear Sports Tailights
- H&R Drop
- Axis Ordens 20x10 +0 offsets

And here she sits today...

Also did some bolt on engine work... but no pictures of that...

- Crawford Upper Plenum
- UTR Polished Z Tube
- Stillen CAI
- Flowmaster Series 80 Exhaust

Thanks for looking, and enjoy!

This is one of the only SUVs that I like. Unfortunately I think the FX got worse looking as time went on.

I always liked these SUVs, looks really good the way you have it. I bet it sounds fantastic too with the exhaust work.

I agree that the FX got ugly after this generation. These are my favorite. I like that color too, you don't see it much. Yours actually looks really really good as well, and I normally have something to pick apart about everybody's car.

Thanks for the comments all!

@rightaway - All local i get 12.5mpg normal to semi aggressive driving. Currently i'm doing 50/50 city/highway and have a combined of 16.5. all highway is around 19-20.

if you drive it like its stolen though, expect single digits easily. First few months of ownership i was looking at 9mpg

I've got one of those too and I love it. The only way to tell that that's not a factory sport package is the fact that you've got the black roof rails. Gas mileage really isn't great, but who cares when it's so much fun to drive. Love the Sapphire Blue color, man.

It's an FX35 and yes, the G35/G37 gets lots better gas mileage. My G37S gets about 22mpg on average.

Nice work. I have a 07 FX35 with every option that was available. Definitely a lot of fun to drive. How do you like the H&R drop?
