Turbo rebuild..any shops in the area?

i have the opportunity to pick up an HX52 relatively cheap however it needs a rebuild.

what would i be looking at for a rebuild/balance? ive found kits online as low as $79 but i have no idea what a balance will cost me

diesel turbo's aren't any different then gas turbo's...and the only thing this turbocharger comes stock on is 8.0L volvo's and a few medium displacement cummins motors.. not very many people hot rodding them

basically what im getting at is if you can rebuild a journal Garrett or borg warner you can rebuild a holset.....the shop above just didnt wanna be bothered and thats fine its their choice.

at this point im about ready to just tackle the rebuild myself...cant be to hard. but i will still need someone to balance it

Did you ask Blouch if they would only balance it?

i never got that far, spoke to a receptionist and she told her boss and then she basically came back n the phone and said they don't deal with them at all...they were very nice about it and they did give me the name of another shop that does but they're a little far from me and also were a little pricey...
