JDM means that Ford/Mustang shop in New Jersey run by Jim Sr. that has been around forever. Long before JDM means what most people associate it with.

JDM Japanese Domestic Market. anything made for the Japanese market that you can't get here without buying it directly from japan or through an importer. but it can be used to describe a style as well since Japan does things a little different than we do.

This basically sums it up.. Unfortunately "JDM" has become a term way over used and misinterpreted by the mainstream.

I hate it when ppl say "im jdm" because you have a lip, side skirt rear lip from "japan" For example many NOT ALL honda guys say it a lot -_- JDM for me is doing a Engine swap from japan in my opinion

my friend gets cars shipped over here, drives um and sells um. those are ****ing jdm cars. im sure a lot of people know who im talking about and have seen them. Ordering parts that are super expensive and tough to get are jdm. idk the word jdm is overused to much its ridiculous
