Engine swap II

What about Japan engine? If it pass all smog test and stuff. It is legal to drive around, if i have paperworks?

I dont see why not, as crownvic said in another reply, make sure that this is not a stolen engine. And as long as it is a legit motor, then it is ok to have an engine that is not the one that cam stock in the car. Also as long as it meets all the smog requirements, you should be fine.
