viper has been good to me, I hear clifford alarms are really good (that's what tweeter says), but I know they can be expen$ive. I'd go for the basic viper alarm w/ remote start, that was around $300 for me a while back

I'm very happy with my Viper 791 paging alarm.....I picked up the backup battery, piezo pain sensor, anti-tow sensor and perimeter sensor for around $600 installed. Very happy.
