A couple questions on scooter/motorcycle turn signals

I'm in PA and own a 2007 49cc scooter which is registered as a motor driven cycle, but does not need a MC endorsement/license being it's under 50cc.
I've been reading up on the PA vehicle code regarding being required to have turn signals on motorcycles. According to vehicle code section 4303 part C motorcycles aren't even required to have them. With that being said, my questions are:

1. Am I understanding the code correctly on needing them?

2. Is there a legal required spacing for the width apart on rear turn signals if you chose to run them for safety? I couldn't find it listed anywhere.

3. Are integrated turn signals illegal? I know some OEM sport bikes come with them directly from the factory. Again, is there a legal required spacing?

I've been told a lot of conflicting info regarding turn signals. It's in the vehicle code in black and white, but some say differently. I'd like to hear from a professional on this. Many thanks for the help/info.
