not to sound like an ass, but, don't bother.

the legalization of a rhd import car to the US is the last thing our congressman will care about.

useless. with everything going on right now unless you writing about hybrid or EV you have no chance

I do a lot with politics currently, unfortunately unless its something to do with the majority of the public its gets glanced at and tossed away

you may as well address it to the congressman's trash can, because that's right where your letter is going to go.

Maybe you can suggest we import dis-assembled cars, and then we can re-assemble them here in the US. You can have your car legitly, and the rest of us can get some job

I wrote to a senator a few times about endorsing a campus carry bill (being able to carry a gun on college campuses) and even though I was relentless with sending these letters I never got an answer... if its not something that is going to help them or that they personally care about I doubt your going to get any sort of response...

Try writing one to obama, tell him I think hes an idiot while your at it please.

my professor is a state congressman and i can tell you they have way more important s**t to deal with right now (namely, having no money). i think skylines are probably the last thing they care about.

Exactly. Writing to you're congressmen isn't going to get you much. If people want a RHD Skyline, and have enough money do get on here in the US, there going to do it regardless.

My ex got helped. She got hurt in training, received some treatment and was sent to physical theropy. Army didn't pay the bill and the doc said she couldn't keep treating. After weeks of deailing with Army morons we contacted a senator. Days latter, we had a general call asking what we needed done. It works if it is for a cause that actually matters.

lol. unless your family is heavily influential and makes some major campaign donations I wouldn't expect too much in return OP. Making it easier for kids to get their hands on 300hp sports cars is probably not too high up on the priority list of our politicians and law-makers. No offense, but if anyone were to write a letter, it should probably be someone who has a FIRM understanding of the complexities involved....so you don't just get laughed at.

same thing happened to my dad about 10 years ago. he's retired air force. he had to be hospitalized for 2 days. when we got the bill, the air force didn't want to cover anything. my dad wrote one letter to his congress man. about a week later, we got a new bill, charging my dad only for the food he ate.

Confiscating skylines is a revenue generator because all they do is auction them off. With funds as tight as they are, the last thing they will do is just that.
