they denied me for my loan. even tho i make ~350.00 a month, and ive been employed for 2 years (im 18), and the payment for the loan would be ~100 bucks a month, they feed me this bull**** that i have insufficient income. well you know what **** you lakeland.

my parents said they will just write me a check for 3500 for the stang and ill pay them back per month, which is better cuz i have no intrest anyway, but seriously wtf is lakelands problem.

your too young, not saying im much older. But most people your/our age have problems getting loans without a co-signer. Also if you haven't built up any credit (which i doubt you have much since your only 18), that just gives them another reason to deny you. But i know what it feels like, so im just gonna go with ya and say **** lakeland bank haha

Its a liability for them and thats why they won't do it. It has nothing to do with you it is protocol.

Honestly, 350 a month is not alot. They bank is assuming that you have to pay rent, feed yourself, amoung others things. After a monthly payment your down to 250 a month for all of that. That's kinda tight. You'd probably be better off getting it from your parents anyway. If for some reason you run into finacial trouble, your parents will be more understanding than a bank.

well, on the loan application it says i pay 0 dollars for rent. also ive had a CC since i turned 18. somehow i fouind a really nice CC that i was approved for with 500 credit a month that i always paid on time.

but w/e its for the best i guess, it just kinda pissed me off. im accculy much happier borrowing from my parents...no intrest

What kind of credit rating do you have anyway?? You said you were 18, so I'm assuming that your parents were on your other credit cards up untill you turned 18.

It sounds like you got the BEST end of the deal anyway, so good for you. Interest free loan is greater than interest loan no matter how you look at it.

I've had 2 cards since I've been 18. In 2 years all the bills have been paid on time and in full, and I still doubt I would be able to get a loan, making closer to 3k a month. You're better off getting it from your parents. If it came down to it, thats what I would rather do.

no its 100 dollar payments on the loan. Its a good credit builder shame they wont do it though. I think I have six more months until I'm allowed any loans
