Hi, my name is Blaise. I drive a 1996 base model sohc neon sedan. It's a real racecar, as you can see:

It's no LS1, but at least it's not a Spec-V, right?

Hopefully I'll come to find that I've already met a lot of people on the site, and more as time goes on

This is my friend, Blaise. He's nice to you if you drive a Neon, if not, he's a dick. Don't take offense, he's nicer in person. If I hadn't met him at Atco, I'd have a bone stock SOHC Neon. Instead we raided a junkyard and I got a larger throttle body and a caravan V6 intake. My Neon is teh fastar now. :D

I did autocross fairly seriously, but only before I moved here to Philly. I go dragracing on Fridays at Atco or Cecil, and will start doing HPDE (non-timed track days this spring).

I'll leave the Rallying to Jim ;)

Only at the track, I don't race on the street, although I doubt I could insitigate a race with a WRX without just getting laughed at.

I wish there were WRXs that existed without upgraded ECUs and 3" TBEs

I've been hiding under my bed.

Nah, I've been sick / busy trying to improve my life. I took two US post office exams down in philly last week on Th and Fr for technical positions. I've been getting a lot of job leads, so I've been trying to pursue them. Also, I went and got a g/f who takes up a bit of my time. :D

hey, i've met you before through jim. i gotta ask though, do you think you'd beat a stock WRX? its totally possible depending on how much you've done to your car, but you didnt imply that you've done much. there's either something up with your car, or something up with your head if you're talking about taking WRXs and SRT-4s down...

Any for all that matters..I would take my Spec-V over any neon (including an SRT4) anyday.
