My 04' Subaru, Build thread.

I'm not sure what happen to this thread, I think I edited it by accident'. I am making this thread to keep up with the progress on this subaru and the transformation it will be making.

Anyways. The car is an 04' WRX. I'm building the car and converting it to an 06' STI, To replicate my 06' STI. Don't mind or get confused with the 221 stickers , They are on every car I own as it's been my track number for the past 10 years, And I do not like writing and erasing them constantly making a mess at the track).

Car is getting 06 conversion, built sti motor, every bolt on mod, aspen white paint, ETC ETC ETC. I do all the work in my garage, By myself.

The garage is currently for sale for $100,000 , As that is what it had been appraised at for the garage and the lot it's on. it could fit about 12 or more cars inside and has a basement, bathroom, work room, and a full bar upstairs. 3 garage doors up front, and one in the rear, + 2 man doors. I'm not sure how far you are looking to travel though if you are looking to buy a building. The lot can fit ALOT of cars , At least 50, Although it doesn't look like it from the pictures being you would need to see the big lot behind the garage (Or in front, If you were on the main road looking at the garage I guess you can say).

I got the car for a bit less then KBB. I bought the car off a personal friend who was not able to afford the payments anymore. I went to the bank and paid his loan off with cash for him and got the title so he no longer had to pay a car payment+ full coverage. The car kbbs' for a bit over 12k currently. When he bought it, He paid alot more for it being he bought it awhile ago, It was still worth alot, And needing a loan for the car made it even more for him when he bought it.

Thank you everyone for the comments, I really appreciate them! I have other projects going on at the same time, But I will keep with this one and update it and not lose interest. Honset bob: I really do like the 06/07 for some reason, And in aspen white. I have two 04/05 body conversions on two cars of mine at my garage if you know anyone else that likes, And wants theh 04/05 body conversion being I would remove/sell all of it.

Updates as of last nite are.

I got a new 6-puck unsprung clutch, And a Lightweight flywheel.

I ended up getting a pair of 06 sti sideskirts at 1am from a local new subaru owner who I gave/installed some mods on his car, For the sideskirts... so now I don't need to order them through the dealer, And I don't need to wait.

I also forgot to mention, The motor going in the car is a 2.5 sti bottom end, That is fully built.

I will be throwing on a rotated GT35R with a billet wheel, Or an 18g. (I know, Big difference, But as I said I don't know until I bolt one or the other on).

Ready to be sealed

I got the car primed and ready for paint. I plan to paint the car tonight (Aspen white). I was there until almost 4am this a.m from yesterday... So I forgot to get pictures before I left of it in primer. Tonight, I will hopefully update with pictures of the car painted!

So far I have now gathered:

-Built sti motor
-35r with billet wheel, And an 18g (Not sure what is going on yet)
-6puck clutch unsprung, Lightweight flywheel
-Perrin fuel rails, ss lines, ETC
-Larger injectors
-Walbro fuel pump
-boost/fuel pressure/oil pressure/aem wideband gauges
-TurboXS utec delta 2.0
-Full 06' STI body conversion
-sti 6disc cd player
-gold sti bbs' wheels
-TurboXS 3" exhaust
-TurboXS mbc
-cross drilled/slotted rotors with better pads
-New aftermarket shocks/lowering springs.
-non-reclinable race seats with fiberglass backings.
-equal length headers
-huge up-pipe

I will post up extremly late, Or very early tomorrow morning with pictures of the car painted aspen white.
