Yup, I can't believe it. My mom called me upstairs and told me to grab the phone and all I hear is "Hey it's Jim from Subaru, your mom told me your dream car was an 07 STI and we have a stock silver one with 35k miles here."

I couldn't believe it. So the dealership is getting it next week and that's when I'll have it. :D Time to sell the 240!

Just wondering if there is anything specific I should look out for before I seal the deal. So excited.

Great to hear bro. have fun with it. and as soon as ur ready for more throw turboback on it and turn the boost up to 18psi (stage 2)......one of the most magical days I've had with my car.

Nothing wrong with yourt parents helpin you out on a new car. My grandma helped me with my eclipse because she hated my old firebird. Congrats dude. nice score.

Just hope its not some messed up joke my dad played on me back in the day. I wanted a mustang so bad. He came home one day and said i got you a car... I was extatic when he told me it was a mustang GT. Went out into my garage and saw a 1:18 model of a muststang sitting on the floor of my garage.

lol I love how this became the mans story and everyone is wishing during his story.

But Gratz man. Subies are fun cars. I got a Prelude for graduation, so I have my favorite car. But make sure you give your mom a big @ss fuxing hug even if you dont like hugs, thats a great gift.

PS I gotta ask, did she get it because she hates teh 240? I dont have 240 but I imagine yours is modded, a lot of parents dont like mods.

She hates my 240 haha. She said that was one of the main reasons. But she said all the cash I get from selling the 240 I can use to modify the STI....

What are the best coilovers for the subie?

My coilovers on the 240 are sooo bad. The car feels terrible, made me paranoid about all coilovers. What are the best coilovers for the subie?

If i were you (and this is just me talking) i would give at least half the money you make off the 240 back to your mom as a show of good faith and graditude. not saying that to be a prick or anything but it would show her your greatful for the car..

Thats good trust me parents tend to hold it over your head when they help you with buying a car. My buddy's dad bought him an Evo and he had to sell his civic for it he ended up taking all the money from the civic and put it into the evo and dident give a dime back to his dad and his dad held it over him for years cause of it.
