I'm new and need help ASAP

This is an emergency so I'd appreciate it if somebody can help me. My mom's '91 Toyota MR2 blew up today, the rod broke off the crank and put a hole in the block. To save my mom the time/trouble she is going to buy a whole new motor for the car because it is a daily driver and she needs the car back on the road ASAP! I am looking for either the naturally aspirated 2.0L 3S-GE or the Turbo 2.0L 3S-GTE, either one must be in great running condition with no problems what-so-ever and all parts must be there (low mileage is also preffered). It cannot be highly modded or too fast, it's just a daily driver that gets my mom from home to work everyday. Please let me know if you have anything....thanks.

Besides that, I'm also a member or Phillystangs.com and I am 15 years old with a 1988 Mustang 5.0 LX 306 Stroker project car that is coming close to being finished.

Good luck man. I'm actually in the search for a 99-04 Saleen or a Termi(if I can find one at a reasonable price). Can't beat how cheap they are to mod and are fun to drive.

I have never heard someone start talking msd when mustang first comes up.. Its usually gears, cylinder head, compression and cam, i guess times change. 31 spline turns into something else.... 600cc? who the hell talks cc on domestic. 24lb, 30lb, 38lb, 42lb and so on. i give him credit for starting an automotive knowledge before he's able to drive. next time...why not help him?

and a decently built 306 makes 400hp+ without "forced air", hell gears and basic bolt ons get you deep into 13's even with a high milage motor.

now to his original post... unless u plan on doing a build with the gte stick n/a replacement over the japanese 2.0l or turbo... used 5sfe's can be had for quite cheap, usually between 400-1500 for a full longblock. just be sure to change things like the waterpump/t-belt/cam seal/crank seal/oil pump o-ring and oil pump spagetti gasket...it'll save a ton of time in the long run
