Can anyone give a brief description of the different radar bands? What is most likely to be coming from a police radar and sources of the others? Frequencies? My detector did not describe the differences at all.

X is old style. Alot of construction signs have them mounted to them, but I've found some NJSP still use these guns.

K ans Ka are the more recent version of the guns.
POP is based on Ka, I believe. It uses short bursts that are hard to detect with ordinary detectors though.

Basic knowledge, but all I got.
