tax return help

I'm trying to use turbo tax to file my tax return, i made under 25,000 last year and was in school up to december 22nd, how do u file that "EID" thing that someone mentioned on here b4?? I jus need help so i can get as much money back as possible

Turbo tax has MANY tools to help you find out. I don't know exactly what you're looking for since im not a student. BUT i know if you are using the 9.99 software, that the more expensive one may be helpful.

that doesnt ring a bell but i know there are two things for students you may be eligible, and turbo tax covers both of them

I think you have to go to some website to get the free e-file for students, if that's what you mean... but that's all i know about it.

under 50 and make less than 50K you can supposedly file for free at hrblock:

Wow, that doesnt seem accurate, i thought a lot of people make less than 50k a year. BUT its probably only EZ1040s.

I just tried to do the Federal e-File thing. Apparently they'll prepare it for free, but then charge you $12.95 to print it or send it across the wire to the Fed. WTF. What kind of nonsense is that. I have to pay $12.95 to get my $337 refund?! Gahh!
