HID upgrade for 01 GSXR 600?

I have installed HID kits into cars however my buddy just got an 01 GSXR 600 and is looking for an HID kit.

Am I correct that this bike uses an H4 high and H4 low bulb? If so those are rated at 55 watt.

Because of the bike using a stock 55 watt bulb could he go with a 55 watt H4 slim ballast kit for high/low?

Normally when I have installed the 55 watt kits into people's cars I buy the relay harness. However being a bike I am not sure if installing a relay harness is going to be easy? Being the bike uses 55 watt bulbs stock should the simple plug/play work alright?

I just want to make sure I got the correct bulb type and as well as the correct wattage to run.

I miss my 01 GSXR600... Don't know anything about HIDs for them though.
