JST2KWIK's trip to Miami-exotics and 2011 mustang rental inside
We also normally get a chrysler Sebring convertible rental, but since I am now over 18 and can be on as a driver, I insisted on rwd and the only thing they had was... a triple black 2011 V6 Mustang convertible. 300hp? Aww yeah. ![]() First are some pics of Florida itself, then some of the rental, and then the plethora of exotics we saw in Miami. It really is insane. All of the exotic pictures are also only from one day because my phone died and I left my charger in Orlando ha. Enjoy Orlando/Miami ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Rental Budget never saw me coming... I gave this car a good beating. It's pretty much a tradition in my family (and I assume most automotive enthusiasts) to beat the piss out of rental cars. The $2.90 per day insurance goes along way, and the people that inspect the car when it goes in barely speak English, so it's a win/win situation. This car was offroaded, drifted, had the e-brake ripped at ~80mph, and was driven through turrential, life-threatening rainstorms with the top down. After all was said and done, it was crashed once (in the V6 mustangs, you can't turn Ford's advancetrac all the way off, so once you get a good angle it makes the car go straight. Not good when you are doing a 180 in a tight space), and the steering wheel controls and cruise control ceased to function after we drove with the top down through the worst rain storm I've ever seen. The front lip was broken off, the fender well plastic was gone, and the front bumper was misaligned. We were charged $0 in damages ![]() ![]() There are some AWESOME little dirt roads in Florida... if you look closely you can see lots of drift marks. The interior was covered with mud from this day on ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 60+ mph switchbacks... so much fun! And there was nobody around! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Some burnout action ![]() ![]() A puppy! ![]() ![]() Exotics I saw all of these in just one day along with countless others I couldn't/didn't feel like getting pictures of. In the three days we were there, we saw about 15 RR Phantoms, 3 dropheads, 2 Bentely Brooklands (rare), 25+ Maserati Gran Turismos including some verts, 2 599 GTB's, and all kinds of crazy stuff. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hard to tell, but an LP560-4 vert ![]() Also hard to tell, a two-tone RR Phantom with huge wheels driven by an old woman ![]() ![]() This was awesome. I heard roaring, and looked down the street to see a matte black Gallardo vert flying with the matte black R8 behind it. They were both murdered out completely. The Gallardo made the light, but the Audi stopped and I was able to get pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Another R8 V10 driven by a sexy Brunette. I saw like 10 R8's, 3 of which were V10s ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Superleggera in an awesome, probably rare, color ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Beautiful Italian tuned and customized LP560-4. Red and green Superlegerra style stripes up the side, big carbon fiber wing, carbon fiber side skirts, rear diffuser, mirrors, and front lip. The owner was walking up to it and gave me a thumbs up. Also a black 599 GTB in the background, some guy ran, jumped in it, and took off like a bat out of hell before I could get pics. Sounded epic though. ![]() And I saved my favorite for last. As we were driving down bayshore drive, I saw would looked to be a DB9. Cool. I'd already seen about 50. As it went by though, I noticed the headlights were different and then saw the clear tails and knew... It was a Rapide! Never thought I'd see one, ever. To the dismay of my poor mother, I drove accross the grass and ripped a 180 to go the other way and follow it ![]() ![]() ![]() Can't wait until this coming summer's trip! ![]()

Thanks, and yeah it was the best vacation I've ever gone on, you should definately go to Miami if you have the chance. I've always wanted to move to Miami, and this just makes me want to go even more!
