A picture I found...

So I found this picture on someones myspace as a background. Does anyone know where this picture might have been taken? I am so moved by this picture. I want to see if anyone knows the city it was taken in. I want to go to this city and see this view for myself and possibly do a shoot of my 2g there.

Mmm. San Diego. Drink it in, it always goes down smooth. Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means "a whale's vagina".

Yep. That haze is definitely Cali.

Reminds of both SD and Hollywood.

Maybe Cali, but idk that is really a tough one. Doesn't look like a major city in the foreground because the buildings are not very tall. Def looks like LA in the distance though

The river is too wide for it to be Albuquerque. I asked some friends who live in San Fran, LA, and San Diego if its any of those cities, but they said it isn't. There aren't enough tall buildings for it to be those cities. Also they said the water can't be Fiesta Bay or San Diego bay in San Diego because of the shape and location of the lights. They also said it can't be San Francisco bay or San Pablo bay because of the lack of tall buildings and lack of bridges.

What you are looking for is a city with a wide river or bay without tall buildings and without many bridges.

I wonder if its around Seattle or Vancouver. The terrain and having areas of the city wothout tall buildings could fit what is seen in the picture.

Scholars maintain that the translation was lost hundreds of years ago.
