As some of you may know, Dubai is known for its ridiculous amount of abandoned cars. Most of them are left sitting over the summer while the owners move back to Europe to avoid the 120 degree summer days. the first few are in the parking garage of my dads apartment building. these are the few cars i was actually able to get a pic of that didnt fly by me on the highway or something.

Probably one of the most amazing places i've ever visited. Had the pleasure of going on business there several years ago...things have changed SO much in the past 5 years!

I loved it there when I went in december of 2008. That 172 floor building wasn't even done when I was there. I went on this desert safari. They dune drift it was pretty chill and after that we went to this camp site where they had kababs and bellydancers which was a epic win.

I have no desire to live there. Drivers there are absolutly terrible... and you can go to jail for road rage so i'd be screwed. Not to mention the people there are some of the most inconsiderate people i've ever dealt with. Oh and it gets to 110* every day.

i didnt think that place was that bad but alot of restraunts there had terrible food lol. i stayed at the shangri la in abu dhabi for 2 nights, the first night i went down for the breakfast buffet, i asked for milk and they brought me warm camel milk. i found out what it was the hard way lol. the only place i found good food was at the dubai mall... i forget the name of the place but it was a burger place right by the entrance where you go up to the observation deck of the burj khalifa. i honestly think it was the best burger ive ever had, besides five guys of course.

Re: Pictures from my summer trip to Dubai

Yes that is true. The workers only receive about 200$ a month and they work 12 hour days in 120* with one meal a day.
