We had an awesome trip this year with an awesome group of people. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone, I'm workign on footage and should take a little longer to get a teaser up. We are still going through receipts etc from everything, but this year we were able to raise close to $2,000 for further cancer research. We donate to "American Cancer Society" & "The National Donor Program"


For those who don't know about Drew's Run feel free to read more info.

“Drew’s Run” is a short Rally dedicated to a friend and fellow car enthusiast who died this past year at the age of 24. Drew had a long hard fight with cancer and managed to pull through, but as soon as things starting getting better he found himself in the hospital again. This time he was facing one of the most dangerous procedures in the medical field, a bone marrow transplant. He underwent intense radiation and chemotherapy and was putting up an amazing fight. However the infection was proven to be too strong and on August 9th 2007 Drew found peace, he would have been 25 August 12th. One of the things Drew wanted to do before he passed was to take some good friends and have a small Rally/Cruise. However the drive never happened and as we have Drew in our thoughts and his family in our prayers we do this drive for them. More info on Drew can be found here www.drewspinelli.com

we made it about halfway through then getting pulled over :rolleyes
it was a bunch of bs about how he got us all on video doing 57mph even though we were stuck behind a bunch of slow bikes for the stretch he "got us". But no ticket was issued

Back in beautiful knoxville, some of the group took a nap,some went out did some go carts.



But either way we met up later after some of the guys went out and bought $900 worth of fireworks.


We had 3 car fulls and trunks


Late night mission was to go out then shoot them off where ever we could.

Yeah we went a few places all around the tail etc.

Thanks it was a lot of fun. Pictures can only show so much.

I can not wait to go back to the Dragon this spring! I went in 08' and I had a blast. We stayed out in the woods though in Fontana Village so we are real close to the dragon, but pretty much right off of the Hell Bender.

Looks like you had a ton of fun.

It was a blast, I honestly wish I could be there right now, looking at the pics I miss it already.

It was nice staying in the City cause we could go out at night close to a lot of stuff and hit the Dragon in the Morning. I think next time I go I'm going to do a really early 5-6am run where it's still almost dark out and put some big fog lights on.

Night time and early morning is kind of wild down there. Especially with how the fog comes in certain areas.

This was probably the latest I've gone out, solo run in the WRX down the Hellbender towards Deals Gap.

Exactly, I love not having cell service and being in a place where nobody can find me for a few days hahah.

True, It'd be hard to sell camping out to guys coming on a rally hahah

Maybe take the wife and a few friends down and do it. I know she wants to go back asap.

Cabins at Fontana have stoves, showers, a/c and heating, tv. They are pretty nice, I wouldn't consider it camping as much as a nice lodge.

I checked some of their stuff on the site, the members cambins are pretty nice and a few of the new ones aren't bad. I'll have to check it out sometime.
