Clock Spring out and DCCD Green Light Blinks

I installed a Momo Competition Wheel, NRG Short Hub & Quick Release. The clock spring had to come off to make the hub fit. Now i have the blinking green DCCD Light that looks like a circle. Can i fix this somehow? Maybe put the Clock Spring back in and hide it zip tied under the dash?
