MK6 GTI Detail

haha mirror shot off of ryans front passenger door, and look there is my car lol ( MKV GTI)

So had a friend of mine come by and asked me to do a full paint correction on his MKVI GTI. His car wasn't that bad to begin with, but it did and was due for a correction.

(here is a shot that shows the kinda bad hazing thats on the fender and swirls)

(hard water spots, dirt etccc)

(you can clearly see the dirt and stuff on the car from this pic)

( Durtyy VMR's MMMM not)

So then here is the process I used

-Vacuum interior

-clean the dash and all plastic areas

-dress the interior

-spritzed the wheels

(maybe a bit to much product but meh its okay)

- okay then moved on to the 2 bucket wash

- dried using waffle towels

- clay bar

(nice tribal effect after claying the lower half of the hood)

- clay wiped off

- car brought in the garage for some good ol' polishing, after 2 passes the car was flawless. And most swirls, light scratches, water marks were all gone.

- waxed on/ dried/ off

( the car leaving the dungeon of correction lol)

- dressed all exterior plastics

-detail engine bay

- windows cleaned using glass towels

- final wiper down with microfiber and detail spray

and after working since 730am and finishing at 6ish pm the car was complete!!!!

and the glamourous photoshoot

* if anyone in NJ area needs anything from a quick wash to a full detail lmk.
