Pics of Steamtown in Scranton,PA

Went up to Lenox, PA for the weekend with some of my wife's family. On the way home yesterday I stopped by Steamtown in Scranton, PA to see some old steam locomotives. Very cool place to visit. You can just wander around the railyards and check out these old locomotives, passenger cars and freight cars just sitting there rusting away. Spent about an hour there before I hit the road back home. Enjoy the pics.

Watch out for the hobos in that bone yard. They have morphine drips, crack pipes, and needles laying all over the place.

Nice pics man!

I was up there on the Sunday before labor day for their annual "RailFest" as they call it.

I have all kindsa pics but liked this one the most and messed around with it in photoshop some.

I'll post a link to it since I left it in somewhat high-res still.

This was like my 2nd week with my 40D that i picked up for a song....

wow, there are some great shots in there. I didn't know they had the old trains sitting around like that there. I need to get up there sometime in the near future because I love shooting old run down things.
