How to get skunk smell out of car?

Hey, well i hit a skunk tonight. Unfortunate for him, same for me since my car smells like, well skunk. I was wondering if anyone has some remedies for it. Its not unbearable, i drove home 20 min and didnt bother me much but i sprayed some body spray a bit and had the windows down. When i got home i scrubbed and poo'd my carpets, sprayed down my dash, sprayed a deodorizer under the car and in it. Not much else i could do, i heard activated charcoal works but im thinking about just getting some skunk remover since i heard there actually is such a thing. Anyone else have any ideas? Sorry if this is in the wrong section, it IS car related. Thanks!

Well.. I got sprayed when I was really little and my mom bathed me in tomato paste mixed with water. Idk how well it would work on a car, but it worked for me. haha. hope this helps!

Why didn't you wash the outside of your car? You hit it with the outside of your car, not the inside.

Your gonna need MAD Tomato Paste man....

A ramp and an in-ground pool should work

Try shampooing your interior with something from your local autoparts store. Or take the car to be detailed and just let them deal w it.

This. No point doing the inside until you get the outside smell first.

put an m80 in a tomato and set it off inside the car....

Or...

rub baking soda into the carpets and put a whole box of dryer sheets in there to absorb the lingering odors.

I washed it right away but it still smells, not bad just a tiny bit. Im either gonna wait it out or try the baking soda, peroxide and dish soap method on the underbody.
