Housing/Real Estate

I'm currently looking to find something, preferably local (Bucks County-ish) for a few months while I finish making all my connections for the hopeful California move.

I'm looking for something, lease, lease to own, rent, whatever...only real request is a garage.

Anyone have any ideas/seen anything in the area?

The downstairs of my house is in the process of being converted to residential. Itll be 2 bedrooms, probably around $1000 a month. But no garage.

I've got a friend who's parents are looking for someone to house sit for the winter. It's got a two story pole barn with four classic VWs in it, a Kabota for plowing the drive way on the top floor, and PLENTY of room to work on your car. The garage fits about twenty cars. The house is a two bedroom, two full bathroom, full bar downstairs in the basement loaded with alcohol and 3 backup bottles of each (replacements required if touched, obviously) sitting on 18 acres in upper bucks county. Pay is $125 a week for sitting, no pets, preferably one person. Of corse, background check and regular checks on the house by near by family will be performed. If you want, I can get a hold of my friend's family to see if the offer is still open.

Not to mention, the house is ALWAYS meticulously clean, the woman of the house is anal retentive about the thing. The only reason behind this is because they just bought a house in Tampa and are planning on staying down there for the winter, and it's their primary house.

So I could be getting side-money by staying @, keeping cleaned, and maintained someones home?
