Well it's that time. This is more of a note to see if there is anything I'm forgetting. For those who don't know I have a 99' 2.5rs with a 2.0 wrx swap. I have an 09' sti engine sitting around waiting to go into it. Right now I'm running a vf34, all supporting mods blah blah blah.

With that being said I've decided to pull the stock pistons for some wiseco pistons. I will be purchasing an hta68 with 750cc injectors for this set up. Also since I never got one I'll be picking up a turbo inlet. I also have laying around a brand new grimmspeed ewg set up.

I should be making some decent power with almost instant spool. Trying to think if I really missed anything I should pick up. I think I have most of it covered. Any suggestions?

sounds like a good plan, should make a member journal instead of in here.

Yeah I'm going to use it. Which reminds me I'll need the block off plates. Lol. See....this is why I made this thread so there is no surprises, well that and maybe some suggestions too.

I wish I could get the avcs to work with what I have now but I'll be running the 04 wrx ecu with wiring. In a perfect word I'd run a stand alone and wire up the avcs but that part of it isn't in my budget right now unless there is a cheap alternative.

Doing the actual swap itself won't take to long maybe an hour or so. It's the work before that that'll take a little time. Few hours here and there at my buddies shop. I think I'm gonna powdercoat the spare intake manifold and run it on there so that'll take a little time. It's finding the time during the week to get down there.

Picked it up from Mark at Jsc speed last week. This week I'll probably stop by after work and pick up the injectors. Also picked up an aem wideband.

So wait, you are just taking out the 2.0 and putting in the 09 2.5? Or are you using the 2.5 block with the 2.0 heads?

Im kinda confused!

2.5 long block which includes the heads. I was thinking 2.0 heads at one point but with the pistons I got and the 2.0 heads it would be a pretty high comp. Ratio.
