In about a month I will be shooting a wedding (9/11/10) and would love to have a 135L for the day. If anyone has one they would be willing to lend me that would be great. I'm also interested in some wider primes. This is more or less a feeler.

I know your looking to "borrow", but i've come across this site a few times.

$45 bucks for a 3 day rental of the 135 f2

edit: they do the usual "value of the lens" and the rental fee, so 1k+

I did NYCV a couple months ago and it was a straight $75 rental fee, no "insurance" for the cost of the lens.

you can borrow my 35/1.4, 135/2 and even my 5dii that day if I can borrow your 5dii and 70-200/2.8 on october 1st for a wedding i have to do. sounds like a fair deal to me haha

thanks, I'm not charging for the gig since it's a friend, so I'm not looking to put out much cash if you catch my drift. But i will definitely save that link for future needs.
