Who wants to caravan to HIN/NOPI from South Jersey?

I looked all over TST and couldn't find a thread for this, so i took the honors to make one. And with the help of a few awesome people, got all the info needed to make a proper caravan thread.

HIN/NOPI 2010 @ Englishtown Raceway

Sat's show is 4pm-11pm
Sun's show is 10am-6pm

Saturday July 24th, 2010 - Meet @ 230pm-245pm, Leave @ 3pm
Sunday July 25th, 2010 - Meet @ 830am-845am, Leave @ 9am

There will be a open Gymkhana competition for $3000 winner take all
To be held at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ on July 24-25.

AMATURES ONLY – No Licensed D1 for FD Drivers

Also throughout the weekend there will be open drifting on E-Towns road course.

MEAN STREET: Handicapped Racing on a Full Tree - rules
Winner $1250
Runner up $750

8.50 INDEX: rules

All payouts are based on a 5 or more cars in a class

I make Caravan threads!

But, to go to Englishtown, normally, I prefer to leave from the Burlington Center mall. It's far enough north, that almost no one has to go south to get there, but it's still close for most people.

The problem with meeting at SA is that people like me and anyone else that lives my way has to travel like 15 minutes south just to go an hour north from there. But, if we leave from Burlington Center it's only about 45 minutes north.

But, either way, you're about 3 minutes from the Turnpike, If you're leaving from SA you take exit 4 and Burlington Center uses exit 5.

And i took your advice in SA Meet Thread. Def agreed with Burlington mall. i can get on 295N in 10 mins flat(less if no traffic) from my house and to the mall in less than 20. and it is more convenient to meet up north, than to drive south just to go north.

Im still not 100% sure on the best time to leave yet, i put it for an hour and 1/2 prior to the start of each show, so that should give a decent amount of time to drive to englishtown. And which way would we go? 295->195? or NJTP? Just trying to get a solid caravan thread goin.

When I need to get there, I leave about an hour for travel time - but it usually takes about 40 minutes to get up there.

As far as the route I take, I get on the TP at exit 5, get off at 8, toll is $1.10, get on whatever road is right off exit 8, take that down about 8-10 miles, make a left onto Iron Ore Road, Make the first right, take that road to the fork and make the left at the fork, take that road into E-Town where I make a left at the next fork, then I make a right at the quick-check thingy, make the left onto pension and you're there.

Or something like that. It's really easy once you do it once, it's the route we always take.

I dont have work all weekend. So both days for me too. Ill prob leave earlier on sunday and go down the shore.

Edit: Made some more updates to post 1 to make it look more like a legit caravan thread.
