wow i almost totalled my car

ok so i take my boy to get his new talon up north. roads are wet no big deal. well halfway back on the turnpike it starts pouring. im like f this. i slow down to like 60. now everytime i see standing water i just let off the throttle coast through with no problems. well i get washed out by some car and dont see this standing patch of water. well i steady holding the throttle as i was about to let off the ass end lifts up and heres where the craziest ride ever begings. well im in the fast lane..3 lane hiway. i slide f&f infront of the guy in the middle lane my front bumper to his. very narrowly avoiding his bumper. so now i look behind me as im still sliding in reverse towards the gaurdrail. im like **** cause im still sliding in rev at like 50mph towards the rail. so i counter steer downshift. soumehow i correct her forward. but because of the rain im sliding passenger front towards the rail. so im like ****. cut the wheel some as to try and slow the car down. also i downshift again. she straightens up some. i barely coast into the rail and dent my fender scraped the new bumper and turn signal. all and all it coulda been alot worse. im very thankful and not one bit angry.
my boy can vouch for all this as he witnesed this right behind me. i did 40mph all the way home.

im never one to pat myself on the back but this morning when i woke up i did. im thankful i dont panic and understand countersteering

All I can say is...Brian Spilner has nothing on this man. Totally Amazing...It was like a movie. I almost got rear ended B/c i slammed on my brakes. All in all i'll take a dented fender over slamming into a guradrail at 50 MPH...He literally wrapped his car around the one in the other lane. THAT guy probably had to change his underware twice.

God was with us on that road...Oh and Zerious can Drive his ass off.

Best part was couple miles down the road...I get a phone call. "So after realizng what just happened...I coulda just ate **** back there."

time for those tires ;)

Well changed the fender over from the parts car. So I just have a scrape on the bumper.

I tell ya I keep playing it in my mind. Holy crap. When I was going backwards towards the rail I was like man this is gonna hurt. But god was with me on that one. I'm really thankful. Car woulda been fed if I woulda crashed in reverse.
