i'm insurance shopping for my s2000 and i feel like i'm being raped. i did a quick quote on progressive and it seems like they can save me over $1,000 a year.

what do you guys have and how do you like them? (repairs, etc)

i'm

-23
-male
-in the last 3 years: speeding ticket on the gsp (74 in 65) and a no fault accident in '07
-full coverage w/ $1000 deductible

$4300 / year with liberty mutual

Yeah man. As i said in my PM, progressive was a cheapest I was quoted. Only concern is that should a need to make a claim, Im not sure if they replace with OEM, or cheaper aftermarket parts.

if you had a better record i'd say try nj manufactures but nj cure is better if you got points or moving violations and are under 25

called everyone and just switched to geico. i just went from $430 to $205.27 with better coverage. the plus about geico is that they use all oem parts and the mechanic of my choice.

s3xraptor, go over your policy. njcure tried to be slick, they wanted to give me coverage with $0 protection for passengers. even with the $0, they were more expensive than geico

Try erie insurance. they suck if you have points, but if not they are one of the cheapest. I have my 04 r6(w/comprehensive) my 92 240sx(with comprehensive) and my renters insurance for my apartment and i pay $140 a month for everything. (Im 20 years old with no points, a suspension and a car theft report)

I currently have Geico and have been looking to switch to NJ Manufacturers. The rates are almost the same but I heard NJM is best in the long run. I have all of my mods covered by Geico and my rates didn't go up at all.
