does anyone know a place where i can look at some designs and fabrics to get some ideas and purchase, and also steps for a d-i-y project

ive bought plenty of suede from there when its on sale.

Also, dont use 3m glue if you're going to do a headliner. Its bound to fail. Use Contact cement. If you dont have a compressor, pick one up, and also pick up a cheap HVLP spray gun from somewhere like harbor freight.

Check out yourautotrim.com. They have high temp aerosol glue for headliners, sprays out like a web. Also have a decent selection and good pricing. I've usedxthem many times for supplies and some vinyls/faux leather.

Joanne fabrics has alot of different fabrics, when you do it don't use 3m use loctite headliner spray glue. Here's my DA headliner, i did it like 2 years ago and i think i'm about to redo it

Used 3M Super 77 and it did a great job

I bought a hatch that the guy had replaced the headliner in with some velvet type fabric.
Loved it.
