lowering spring help

I have a 2007 mazdaspeed3 and just picked up some lowering springs. Im looking for someone who would kindly help me install them who has experience with these parts, or a vendor or someone who can give me a quote. or any recommendations. thanks guys

my reccomendation would be to get some aftermarket struts to go with them so you dont blow your stockers out.

since you're in the 215 i would recommend r/t tuning they are a vendor on the site

yea i called r/t they want 500....a few people i talked to said they would do it for around 100$
but im in yardley/newtown. (bucks county) willing to drive. willing to pay good money for sure

Told ya springs are expensive to do, just because it's so time consuming having to remove and re-install those damn top-hats, especially if a spring compressor is being used cause they just take forever. Shoot me the spring rates, if they are soft enough we can get away with having one person put their weight on the tophat and have the other undo the nut, basically don't wanna do it with the spring pushing the tophat out cause pieces can fly, so someone usually has to help...the spring compressors are used for compressing the spring so it doesn't fling the tophat across your lawn, but there's ways around it.

Me and the buddy did the springs on my car, and that was in his shop with the lift and spring compressor and everything and it still took over three hours. It's so time consuming to do them.

I did it and it worked fine. No stripped threads. The only other thing I would do is put a large, impact absorbing barrier (like a rubbermade tub) at the bottom of the strut and things won't get crazy when they pop.

just rent the srping compressor from autozone, 50$ deposit, and you get it all back when you return it.

I did mine, the only issue was a few stripped bolts and autozone gave me the wrong spring compressor...

and that youtube video...i took mine off that way... but how are you gonna put them back on, i know the mazda would have been imposible without the compressor

It depends on the spring rate and drop. I don't even think I had to compress my rear springs to get the nut back on.

If it's that hard have a friend compress the spring and then you thread the nut.

Connor, those will be easy, they are rather soft rates I'm sure I can compress them with my weight.

Yeah dude. This is my second set. I used them on a previous car and ended up giving them away thinking I wouldn't need them again. Went right back there and bought them again because they get the job done.
