i have the same problem and i would get depressed wen i would miss school and not feel productive and feel like a waste of day i never thought i would came across som1 who has basically the exact same problem i do i stay up till like 130-3 every night and have to get up like 530-6 every day and im usually up by 630 but thats too late but once im up im up i dont get tire durin the day though which is amazin the fact i can have a 20hr day every day and only avg 3hrs of sleep everynight and b able to function

I have the opposite problem, i can't sleep late on weekends, i already sleep very little and now that i work full time and i wake up at 7:45 evryday, i can barely sleep past 8:30 on weekends. Im glad i wake up easily tho cause working would be hell otherwise.

Do you keep all your blinds shut? Try keeping all the windows open and moving the bed so the sun hits your face, might help a little. Also when you get up to turn your alarms off, go straight to the shower as fast as you can.

Like I said, the problem has been around much longer than I've been smoking. The only reason it's gotten so urgent recently is because Im now under a lot more pressure to make something happen in my life, whereas when I was in high school I could just deal with it and take my ****ty grades. I'm a junior in college now, and have barely even delcared a major. Its time for me to kick it into gear, but I cant do that when my sleep cycle wont let me out of "Park." I smoked pot in high school, then stopped for 3 years, and my sleep cycle never changed.

Endocrinologist appointments run about 60 days out. Its like waiting TWICE as long for a dyno tune. I've had my apointment booked since July. My apt is Sept 29th.

My room is in the basement, and the only window in my room catches the morning sun at 6:00am. The only reason I know this is because I've tried falling asleep with this sun in my face, and couldnt do it. I had to stuff a pillow in the window to fall asleep. But that same light comes into my room every morning when Im already asleep, and I sleep right through it.

My girl sets the clock in the bedrom fast and I never know exactly how fast it is. That way I wake up in a panic every morning. It works, I used to be just like you(op). I get about 5 hours of sleep now, but i take lots of diet pills(230 lbs down to 168 lbs) and smoke lots of cigs so it works out for me. Back on point, try having someone else set your alarm.
