Yea I like it more now. Car is done being "majorly" modded until spring/summer, want to replace a few things over fall and winter, first on the list are 4300k HIDs and ditch my 6000k ones.

Possible plans for next season (summer).

Option 1: a little suspension and a little power
Stickier tires
310cc injectors
190lph fuel pump
Snow/Devilsown/Aquamistetc. Meth kit
Boost cut bypass
12-13psi
Result: ~225whp, and possibility for 13.5 quarters

Pros: more performance all around, im a fan of this
Cons: no huge gains in power or handling
Price expected: 400-500 for tires, 200 for fueling, 500 for meth, total around 1200

Option 2: all suspension
Full coilovers and proper alignment plus stickier tires

Pros: much more control over suspension, nicer handling
Cons: still a 13.9-14.3 car, no fun with big boys (no homo)
Price expected: 400-500 for tires, 1000+ for coils, ~200 for alignment, total about $1600-1700

Option 3: all power
FM2 conversion including-
GT2560 turbo
manifold
downpipe
hotside IC piping
additionally: injectors, lines, etc.

Pros: big power jump, around 60-70whp
Cons: cost for ECU and availability of tuners both unreasonable
Price expected: 2500 for kit, 1200 for XEDE ecu, 2000 for hydra ecu, injectors, and other misc pieces, somewhere in the ~$5000 range


Those aren't my ideas, more-so the available options. I'm liking #1 though I may alter a few things within it if I do go that route.

seriously forget adding more power for now...get some GOOD coilovers none of that chinese sh!t and you will not regret it.

I walked away from most cars even 200hp up on me at the e-town road course when I was NA...that's low 15's in the 1/4 and on street tires we're talking. You're running what could be good for 13's. A miata doesn't need to be a whole lot faster than that to spank most other cars on a tighter course. And considering you can't run anywhere near the rubber required to put that down just focus on a good suspension.

2500 in suspension mods will give you a hell of a lot more bang for the buck than 5000 in hp mods that will only net you 50 more hp on a good day, and it won't throw your reliability in the gutter.
