I recently bought a set of nerf bars for my quad off a member of www.trx450r.org

Ill copy and paste my thread off that forum:

I bought a set of nerf bars from Chevyz for $110 shipped. I sent him the money via paypal on the 7th. After sending money he stopped coming on here very often, and he has not been active since the 15th. On the 11th he assured me they would be shipped on the 12th. On the 15th he confirmed they were shipped via USPS and gave me some non working tracking #'s. Since then he has been M.I.A. I have not gotten my package at all. And USPS will never drop off a package at my house when no one is home so I know it wasn't stolen off my doorstep.

His name on the forum is Chevys. His paypal addy is Dhbracerz@yahoo.com. And the name the paypal account is under is Stephanie Vicknair.....which leads me to believe this MAY be a girl and not a guy.

He has also been spotted on 2 other places:

yea that address is right. I searched his email address on myspace and it came back as a 17 yr old from La Place, Lousiana.

With my claim it took 20 days and they settled in my favor naturally. Well this asshole decides to scam someone else and soon as the money was wired to his Paypal it was sent to me.

Paypal is by no means secure....your best bet is to use a credit card as they can be reversed. Do not use your checking account....I learned that lesson but after 45 days I got my money back.

I will say TST badgered the hell out of the guy that scammed me, enough to make him plead me to stop.....lets keep this going!

Lets get his parents info, that seems to work really well!

His dad's name is Paul. There are two Pauls listed in the yellow pages in Louisiana.

I just called the first # and I got an answering machine and left a long message saying I filed a claim with paypal and I'm about the get the FBI involved for internet fraud....im pretty sure thats possible if the transaction is for over 100 dollars. I'll wait to call the other two #'s later.

But seriously, file a paypal and be done with it. Unless the seller can produce a valid tracking number saying the package was delivered paypal will favor on your side.

I did file with them but still I want my ****. I won't give up until I have either my money or my parts.

The first number I called seemed to be wrong. Some older woman called me back saying her husband was stephen and there a few Vicknair's in the area. Seems to make sense too since he is 17 so why would he have a # in his name.

I'll call the other numbers tomorrow.
