I turned out somewhat normal, a lot of stress on the "somewhat", and a very loose meaning of "normal".

All:

I do not want to sound like a dick but I need to cover a few things.
This is not directed at any one person.. honestly. I truly appreciate each and every participant and I am glad you are coming but I do have a few items I have to stress.

What I am about to say is strictly from experience not any issue I have with multiple participants in one car.

1. I need a SOLID number of people for lunch. This is not a casual number.
Wellwood is working with us on separate checks, we need to work with them to provide a solid number for lunch time participants as they are bringing in extra staff and setting up picnic tables for us to eat outside.

2. There is a risk you assume with bringing a weighed down car. That risk is that you could bottom out on a back road because we all know that back roads are not perfect in surface or level. This also applies to slammed cars as well. If your car can not fit a coke can between it and the road, this run is NOT for you.

3. This will not be a race by any means but you will need to keep up no matter how many passengers you have. We will be in a tight schedule. Please just give this some consideration.

If any or all of the above presents a problem or if you have any questions, please do not hesiatate to post here. I am saying the above only to make this a pleasurable run for everyone involved.

Thanks!

Craig

All paved! I would not do that to you guys or myself. I am not saying that nowhere on the cruise will you ever have even a pebble kick up. They are back roads not brand new perfect pavement. There are no huge potholes or anything that I noticed.

The meeting spot is around Wilmington Delaware. More details on the exact spot forthcoming once I have a full run. The run goes from there though a small portion of PA and then into MD. The run wraps up with getting back on I95 on the border of MD and DE with about an hour ride to Philly area.

Think of this as not the destination but the journey..

Let me know if this does not work for you.. I need a sweeper for the entire run. No hard feelings if you need to change your mind.

My car is defiantly slammed. I have to put it on 2x4's just to get it onto my lift. I'd say there is just enough room to fit my fist in between the frame rails and the pavement.

Is this a no go? It's defitantly a streetable car. I'm not trying to go through any crazy muffed up roads though.

They are all two lane roads with the occasional squeeze for a one lane bridge which we will approach with caution.

Sweet! Can't wait to get some photos and some video of the run. It's gonna be fun.

There were a few cars making some nasty sounds going over some of the rougher spots on the first Crab Run. Didn't sound good at all.

Gonna make it 3 wide on some of the roads and take that beast off-road? Maybe we can use one of those for the calendar photo. LOL.

That just sounds like a bad idea.

I wish I could go but stupid wedding with free beer take precedence. Hope I can go on the next one.

I would not encourage it to be honest with you. Thats a little too close for back roads. I did not hear any horror stories of bottom outs but I don't think any of these folks were "slammed" that went on the first one. Also, the roads are not muffed up they are just not perfect and level smooth. They sometimes have lumps or dips. The picture below gives the general idea.
Its your call man.
