well, your wheel is positioned 6mm in more and you want 20mm more tire, 10 on each side, so hypothetically, it will stick out 4mm more than that setup which is barely anything. You will fit your wheels no problem, trust me. A nice flat fender roll and you're good to hit the streets.

that dude shaved his fenders for max clearance... i think when they do that they cut around the spot welds then just bend them up... i'd definitely prefer to roll it if i can do it without cracking the paint too bad so thats what i'm going to try first.

yep, that's what most guys do. It's the only way to fit a 47" wide tire in a 13" space. lol

Anti lag functions in between shifts as well as out of the hole. Also what the other guy up there said about it pulls timing and dumps extra fuel to set off the explosion closer to the turbo. I can't speak for a street car but the wrc guys have it set so the explosion is actually going off in the ex. manifold to keep the turbo spooled all the time when they are off the gas. Launch control is just a rev limiter.

wheels showed up today, they look badass and fitment is insane. i love the aggressive fitment mixed with the meaty tires, looks so angry. front of the car is pretty high, rear is probably a little too low, so i'll have to adjust ride height eventually but i've got bigger things to worry about right now...
![]() ![]() and here's the engine bay currently in all its glory... its about time to start putting things back together now. i've got to treat that little bit of rust on the front right side and i'm waiting for one more brake hard line, then its time to start putting things back together. its a little dusty now but it'll be spotless by the time i'm finished here...

Nice aggressive look! When do you think you'll have it running by? Remember the Supra meet coming up July 18th!!!!
btw - on the wheel/tire issue... You can go 305 on 11" wheels without any issues on a lowered rolled car. You can push it and get lucky and fit 315s on 11.5" wheels. Few people have done it.

Ha yeah he owns a Supra and I got the spark plug cover from him...
The engine bay is a little dusty and taking the photo with a flash really isn't all that flattering so I think it looks a little more decent than it may seem. It definitely doesnt look as nice as a fresh paint job would but T think its still pretty decent, decent enough for now at least. T'm about to put on a new firewall blanket so that will look nice, and the inner fenders will get filled in with fuse box, battery, intake, fmic piping, etc... I don't think you'll see too much of it once I'm done. As for the wheels... they are 18x9 +31 with a 245 tire and 18x10.5 +30 with a 295 tire. I know there are guys squeezing 305s and 315s in there but they're using higher offsets to make it happen... my wheel fitment is pretty aggressive, and I think it looks great. other guys with these offsets are using a stretched 275 tire and it just doesnt look as good on a Supra, IMO. Hopefully with a little fender work i'll be able to make these fit without rubbing without having to raise the rear too much cause I think it looks totally badass right now ![]() So the to do list currently is: wait for firewall blanket to show up hopefully early next week, wait for one more brake line to show up hopefully end of next week, install blanket and brake lines, treat rust spot with POR-15 or similar product, drill out a few holes on my exhaust manifold so it fits, put vband flange onto the manifold for tial 44mm ewg, then install new wiring harness, intake manifold, and everything on that side. The exhaust side will be mostly easy, except that I have to get a downpipe fabbed up, might just get the car running without one and drive it to a shop to have the downpipe fabbed... I've still got to figure that part out, haha. I was going to polish the intake manifold, throttle body, water neck, and who knows what else but its so time intensive that I think I'm going to put my energy into getting the car going and down the road I'll work on polishing. Other notes since I havent been updating much... -I'm also installing either a VPC or a MAP-ECU 2 as far as engine management goes. -I have also decided to do a fuel system now, probably basing the system off of fuelinjectorclinic.com rail, injectors, and fpr, and adding a second denso pump, lines, and filter. -I need to decide if I'm sticking with my 61mm turbo or if I should just go to a 67mm turbo instead. This month has been an expensive one between buying a lot of replacement parts from Toyota and getting all of the single turbo stuff, deciding to do a fuel system, and the list goes on. I know how cars go though... it always costs more and takes longer than you originally expected. I'm still really motivated though because I know the final outcome is going to be pretty sweet.

hey forgot to respond to this... unfortunately it wont be running by then, but hopefully sometime in august, that'd be great. i'm trying to do it right the first time and really go over things so its taking a little longer but its ok cause it will pay off in the end. i've got a ton of parts sitting here ready to go into the engine bay and i've got just a couple more that i'm waiting on. i'm psyched and ready to roll with this thing asap...
