opinions or experience with this cell?

http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/...-31660612.html

^^a link to the phone i am about to talk about.

My buddy is up to selling me this phone for 55 dollars. I could def. use a new cell since the one i am using now is making its way downhill. Ive never used a cell that had the MP3 capabilities so that would be new to me and i am interested in trying it out. I mainly text and hardly talk, so i am wondering if this is a good pickup for that purpose, or if i should wait the 6 months until i am eligible for an upgrade.

Opinions backed up with personal experience would be nice. Id appreciate horror stories about the phone too, i would really like to know what im getting into if its bad.

thanks

Texting is the same as really any flip-phone that is out there. The T9 text is halfway decent. The MP3 player part is pretty cool. My dad has had his now for almost a year, and he hasnt had any complaints about it.

i see. ive used about 3 different samsung flip phones, all a little more basic than this, and their texting has been kind of beat. such as it cant keep up with me while on Abc. I just recently made the switch to T9. Does this still type foot - font - then finally dont? Thats my biggest upset. I dont know if T9 varies phone to phone
