Any tips on how to get out of it? cop had lights on before i even passed him and he pulled me over for having 26% tint on front windows.

If you wear glasses you may be able to get a perscription for tint. I've known a few people to do this.

im thinking about going to my eye doctor and beg for a note....my eyes are super sensitive at night with my glasses.

it was probably 30% but the tint meter always registers a bit off

the cop that pulled me over said 18% i was like nah its 20...and sure enough puts the meter on there and its 18%

you cant really get out of it now unless you take the tint off, and even after that some of the hard ass cops will make you still pay the fine.....where did you get pulled over at in the area?, whitpain?

Yeah if that glasses thing works, Im game. I miss having tinted windows...... A LOT!!! Freakin cops......

yea it was whitpain. I don't want to take the tint off so I'm just going to pay the ticket. Sucks though because there are people rolling around with like totally blacked out windows and they don't get stopped.

I don't wear glasses but i do have sensitive eyes.

howd i know? lol.....actually i know because whitpain have pulled me over 3 times for tint....they are the only cops that dont have enough **** to do around here so they pull people over for tint....

i live in blue bell/whitpain and have to drive through there on the coldest days of the year with my windows down so i dont get pulled over...usually i avoid whitpain as much as possible on my route home.....

i still dont get the beef...anyone and their grandma can get a gun in p.a. without much ado, but the hell if you have a little tint on your car...some(i said some) cops suck...

i got 22% on the Escort and i dont get any heat, could also be the fact that my front door glass isnt tinted. im sure if you get a Lighter tint on the doors u might get away with it

depends on the cops, in my area i rarely to never hear of people getting pulled over for it but allentown cops are not too concerned with tint as much as they are murder lol

get a receipt that says the tints are off

i had my honda tinted with 15% cops busted my balls all the time i had the evo done with 20% cops dont say anythig

Odds are his stock windows had some form of tint on them...

I had 15% put on my windows and I have been pulled over for tint at least 4 times, each time measuring either 8 or 9 percent. Odds are he requested 35% and with the factory window tinting it dropped it to 26.

I photoshopped my tint receipt to say that I requested 35% which is the MA legal limit. I have recieved one tint ticket, but that was on top of a massive speeding fine, so I wasn't about to argue.
