We used to be something like that..at one time we had:

we are now "down to":

He is 11 or 12 months old. Mutt. We heard part pit/bull terrier and we heard part hound/something in the bulldog family

thank you. yeah he has some toys. I got him a tire with a rope on it, and he started to break it LOL. Chewed pieces off it. But didn't swallow them, just left them there. I also gave him a plastic bone with a rope in the middle of it from old navy, and he broke that as well, and left the pieces as well.

you think so? I have a vet appointment for him on Monday. I think we might let the vet take a dna sample to see what he is.

Yeah, I know what you mean about dogs going through toys like that. I have a yellow lab that is about 7 years old (still acts like a puppy, but i have no pics) and she goes through toys like no tomorrow. She first sits there and shows everyone her new toy, then sits down with it and just eats it basically. The only toy to date that is around that we still have is this rubber like hamburger that has been around for like 6 years now. Every thing else either has no stuffing in it, or they stopped squeaking.

I would try to curb the destruction while you still can, it's hard for puppies to tell the difference between a toy and a pillow/shoe/etc. Just speaking from experience, i have had plenty of non-dog "toys" pulled apart.

Such a great OT thread everyone! I love dogs.

When I went to buy a dog I was actually looking to buy a Pommeranian. I know a true MANLY dog- huh? lol When I got there I wasn't very fond of the one they had but another dog caught my eye very a very unique look. The minute I laid eyes on that dog I knew I wanted him. It's a relatively rare breed- a Brussels Griffon (flat-coat). He's a great dog, with a good temper, and I even managed to effectively house break him (something supposetly difficult with this breed). PS his name is "Archie".

Here's some puppy pics mixed with a more recent one.

Mine walks around with them all the time to, but she also likes to chew them also. My parents found this vet in Neshanimy that sells chew toys that are pretty rough. We have some that have lasted for about two years now.

It kinda looks like a medium sized pug almost.
