they are over rated in my opinion, sure you can make big power and such, but people dont really get how much it really costs to make that power in this car. people get all excited cause ohhhh its a skyline, cool who gives a **** its a overrated car cause we cant get it in the states. honestly whats so special about it other then that? i mean what can this car do that alot of performance american cars cant do, in my opinion since you have vettes i wont suggest that but id rather own a tt terminator, you may hate fords but whatever, and with that you dont have to worry about legallity insurance and what happens if its crashed and ****, just a big headache for an overated car. but hey its super rare jdm so it must be awesome right?

umm its not the godzilla of japanese cars for no reason...have you ever seen a track tuned r33 or r34?, they dominate.. Rules to entire series of races were changed to ban this car because it was too good...

i could give two ****s about it being JDM or JDM in general for that matter, fact is the skyline is a beast of a car in every catagory stock. so a built and tuned one is even better, right?

its also something you dont see everyday, whats wrong with being different does it make the car overrated?

I'm not big on Skylines either, I love the R34 GTR but for the price and what it costs to make go fast, eh. I'd get a 996 911 turbo (I'm bias though, I'm looking at turbos right now lol)

yes i have, and im not impressed. there is a reason they dont win anymore, cause they are outdatted cars. the evo is a far bettter chasis, i am not saying it cause i own one it simply is. to build a track tuned car that you speak of is super expnsive, have you ever looked into building one. the skyline is overrated, yeah it was good when it was out but not anymore there is far bettter cars id purchase for the price

well i talk about a built skyline because he is looking into a built skyline, probably fast and better a performer as a car double or triple the pricetag.

if we are talking a hefty price for the r33 where you're in the range of 911s and whatnot then yeah there are alot better options....but i doubt this r33 is goin for 100+k id assume between the 40-50k range.

evo has a better chassis? lets see you back this one up with little more than your opinion. what about the drivetrain of the skyline is the evos better then it as well?

the skyline drivetrain has its problems as well, all the super fast sklines have hks blocks and suquntial transmissions. if the skyline is soo much better why does hks hold the record in an evo now, and why do evos and sti's win the awd time attack class. lets forget the built this and built that, a stock skyline is slow, they run what low 14's see all that is forgotten here in america cause well we dont have them. sure you can make em fast but you can make anything fast. my point is id never buy one they are overrated and overpriced just cause we cant get em here, kinda like a foxbody mustang vette or viper in japan. cars we call junk are gold there
